"Whatever it takes."

After training in secret under the strict tutelage of Blood Mage Urias, Enigma rose to become a powerful practitioner of the dark craft, mainly due to the bond he shared with a netherworld being called Pyron. However, after the young captain of the guard Revelation performed a successful exorcism which banished Pyron from the land, Enigma's own dark power turned on him, deteriorating his health and weakening him to a shadow of his former self.

Desperate to regain control of his power, Enigma again consulted his old master Urias. Together the pair performed a blood-soaked ritual which warped Enigma's body and morphed him into a twisted new creature. Pyron had returned - this time not as a companion, but merged into Enigma's own flesh...
