Mystri is Fayde's apprentice. She appeared at the gates of the Temple on the eve of a great storm. Fayde claims to have dreamed of her and called through the dream realms as he sensed a great destiny for her. Mystri will tell you it was her fairy companions who lead her to the steps of the Temple of Fractured Light. The fairies being what they are will probably tell you they heard a voice in Mystri's dream, and had Mystri follow it through a terrible thunder storm because it was funny and made a good story. Who knows if they are telling the truth.
She does not remember her parents or much of her time before Fayde took her in. She knows she wandered the land, living with the Faefolk and avoiding other dragons. She learned the spells of the faerie folk, including how to shroud her presence. I neat ability if one wants to avoid others. She has taken to Fayde's sorcerous technique quiet aptly and has made her teacher quiet proud.
Besides the fairies who constantly flit about her, Fayde has adopted a Raven as her familiar. Through the Ravens shining arcan eye she is able to see what it sees, and experience what it does. She calls him Moor. He is clever but shy, and will only speak to those he trusts. The fairies have learned to steer clear as he has been known to partake of a light snack on occasion.
