Pardus

Pardus hatched in the jungle under the care of his two fae parents. There he was raised for the first part of his life, learning how to hunt for the insects of the forest using his wings to imitate a large flower, drawing them in before attacking. Later in his life he left under mysterious circumstances and for an unknown reason and relocated here. With his mate, BABE, he started a family and clan of his own.

After leaving his home behind to find and start a new one, Pardus quickly met another arcane dragon, who had also journeyed to the area to start a nest of their own. They were quick friends, and their companionship soon grew into something more, until they decided to become mates. Being much smaller and less assertive than his mate, he was slearly the less dominant of the two, and thus becomes more of a supportive and motivating mate while BABE takes the lead with things like nest building and nest politics.

Home
Being an arcane hatched dragon, and a Fae as well, Pardus decided that the best place for him to make his new home was the arcane and Fae homeland. With his mind made up, Pardus traveled there from the dense jungle. After his arrival, he scouted out some places to begin his nest and new home - should he set up a camp among the trees in the forest? Should he dig out a cave along the shoreline? Perhaps his home would be housed on one of the larger chunks of rock around the observatory. While he looked, he met many of the othe arcane dragons on the lookout for a new place to call their own. After hooking up with BABE, the two of them decided on a spot in some of the lower caverns that naturally formed in the rock between the shoreline and the forest. The carvern was fairly remote, and closed of from any other nests. It also allowed for a lot of room for expansion, either through clearing out more of the caverns or digging into the stone. While Pardus was inherently uncomfortable with the dark and cold underground in comparison to his accustomed life of living in treetops, he has grown more comfortable with the aid of small holes dug up into the ceiling of the caverns in specific spots to let more light and warmth in. BABE and him nest near the front of the cave, to provide protection and to observe any incoming our outcoming beings.

Family
Given his background with his immediate family, he is quite open to adopting orphaned or other such parentless dragon hatchlings. This includes dragons from both other breeds and flights. He prides himself in the family that he built and that continues to grow under the care and guidance of both him and BABE. Subconsciously, however, he has a predisposition towards his own bloodline, and thus favors any of his descendants, eespectially those that looks like him (with brightly colored wings and a green body) as he is extremely excited at the prospect of teaching them his family’s hunting style. Eventually, he and BABE found themselves with more than a few new additions to their family, most of them adopted in. Although they find it increasingly harder to keep up with every member of their clan, Pardus makes sure to at least check in briefly with each member as they exit or enter the nest whenever possible.
