she sees nothing and yet she sees everything; the tapestry of time, laid out before her. unable to create, or change; the only thing she is capable of is cutting, cutting lives short, cutting the red strings of fate.

her eyes saw nothing, yet she saw everything. she knew of the past, she knew of the present, she knew of the future. but what good was it?

she knew all this, yet she was unable to change the events. she was unable to make a single scratch on the records of history, unable to sew even a single thread in the tapestry of time. try as she might, her words seemed to fall on deaf ears. no one would listen, no one would believe.

after all, what good was the word of a dragon who couldn't even see?

time and time again, she would plead with others, she would beg, and dark tears seeped through the blindfold that covered her empty eyes. time and time again, they would scoff and turn away, unheeding, uncaring.

and so, after a while, she became bitter. instead of warnings, she spat out threats. she twisted the truth and followed the strings of fate until they were cut. if no one would listen to her, she would make them listen. make them hear the sound of their own foolishness as their arrogance led them to their demise.

she would tell them of their deaths, and watch as they laughed at her, unbelieving. she would listen as they eventually fell, in exactly the manner that she foretold. she would stand, their eyes seeking hers - or rather her lack thereof - and hear them plead and beg.

and she would do nothing to help. she would merely return their scornful laughter, and it would be the last thing they heard.
