Vaenta

Daughter of the captains of the Deathless Bite - a pirate ship. A cursed one.
The mother bites them and curse them, in exange of their lives.

Vaenta got cursed.
Each night, she becomes a monster. From twilight, she transforms gradually into a skeleton ridgeback, experiencing the terrible feel to loose all muscles and skin little by little, until the moment the sun reach a part of her shiny wings, and that reverse the curse... until next time. She is sick of this and this happens more and more often... She is afraid she would stay in that state, that's why she seeks a cure.
She finally come to know our clan. Lots of mages, healer working on impossible curses, and - could it be possible ? - a vampire.

We agreed to offer her shelter and to help her getting rid of her curse.


Her name means "hope, expecting for" in old norse.

She is part of the clan now and is very happy there. We are working a lot on her curse's heal and even if it seems impossible to cancel, we have a few ideas about how to reverse it.
She is part of the airships crew and her knowledge has been very useful. There, she met her mate, Aelys, a nice daydreaming and enthusiastic young Ridgeback male. They began with pestering each other but soon became deeply attached.
Aelys is a huge fan of cosplay and piratery. He admires a lot Vaenta for fleeing her original crew and does whatever he could to cheer her up and make each of her day the brightest day of her life.
Vaenta is a bit overwhelmed by so much love and isn't quite sure how to react, but she will defend Aelys until death without a doubt.
They form a very happy pair that enlightens the life of crew and we are very happy to have them.
Because of Aelys's love for pirates and costumes, they dress like pirates.

One day, she came back on the Deathless Bite, the cursed pirate ship she came from.
Elithe, the merchant, had a trade to do with them and needed the airships assitance.
