we come, we come, with horn and drum

Fierce beast, wrapped in thorns and draped in tattered cloth. Locked and tangled in the dark, ever waiting and ever alert. He watches, he waits, for one who dares to come and free him. To undo the binding on his form, to set him loose on the world once more.

His fangs are sharp, his claws sharp, and his mind sharper. Eyes glowing and shining in the shadows from the matted and tangled mane that drapes over his features. Jaws snapping at those daring to touch his few fineries, magic reaching to strangle and drain life from those who have wishes of ill.

This beast, forsaken, forgotten, and fighting still. Who will free him? Who will find him? Who shall hear his rumbling voice, his earth shaking snarl?
