"Don't fret precious, I'm here ▪ Step away from the window, go back to sleep" Deceptive and flirtatious, Guro is never without company. He may seem like the whole package - handsome, intelligent, courteous - but the boy never shows his true colors. Although he enjoys the attention that the people around him give him, he will never allow anyone to actually get to know him. Guro thinks intimacy is utterly disgusting, and only uses his charms for means of entertainment. Just because he doesn’t necessarily care about those lusting after him doesn’t mean that anyone else is allowed to have them, however. The boy is possessive over those he brings into his life - after all, he thinks of them as his toys, and no child ever likes sharing their toys. Of course, those around him have speculated why he is so secretive since the day of his birth. Perhaps he was just born private, or maybe it was due to his upbringing. His parents never were the most caring of people. Most end up blaming his right eye, however. What was thought of as just a simple deformity at birth blossomed into something much more sinister. Guro has been blind in his right eye his entire life - the pale optic always garnished attention in comparison of the deep crimson of his left eye. Despite his lack of sight, Guro has always had different kind of visions in his right eye. The boy can see glimpses of the future through his blind optic. Usually his visions come in unexpected flashes, and they tend to be vague with not too much context. When he focuses his energy, Guro can begin to see more details and really hone in on what his foresight is showing him. He can even look into specific people’s fates, but he must be close with the person and it takes a lot out of him. He mostly sees the tragedies that will take place in the person’s life, and it is for this reason he avoids becoming close to anyone. The knowledge of how those around him will fall is considered too much of a burden for Guro, so he tends to just string people along for the fun of it without actually caring about them, or making any kind of connection. Guro’s life certainly isn’t some emo sob story, though. He is vicious to the core. The boy has no regard for the feelings - or life - of the things or people around him. The only thing he avoids killing are rabbits, and that is more fear out of his mother’s reaction than regard for their wellbeing. He isn’t a sadist per say - he doesn’t get enjoyment out of the pain he inflicts - he just doesn't care about anything other than himself. Guro thoroughly enjoys all of the blood and gore that go along his brutal behaviors. There was no tragic backstory to make him this way either - nothing traumatic happened to him when he was young - this was just the way he was born and bred. |
