Unicorn Dust Book of Eldritch Horror Feisty Poison

xwLGwnD.png The Wyrd is one of those places in the Plaguelands that you just stay away from. There are lots of mires scattered here and there, but only one is surrounded by thick thorny vines and is plastered in KEEP OUT signs. Only one has haunting blue foliage and an aura that begs you to come closer. Even flying over it is considered risky.

If you wander the perimeter of the Wyrd long enough, you might come across a space in the bramble. If you're stupid, you decide to go in and explore. If you're even stupider, you'll ignore the silence, and how the trees move like they're breathing, and how the purpley-blue haze obscures the horizon the deeper you go.

Once you find the hut, it's too late. You will enter, even if your brain decides it's changed its mind. The haze is so strong now you can't see two feet in front of you, but somehow you find your way to a lectern, with a book left sitting open.

You will look at the book. You will read it, cover to cover. You will note that the front cover has a warning scrawled in red. You won't comprehend what it says.

You will not be seen again.

If you can read this, close the book! If you can move, burn it! It must not continue to exist!

Cipactli took its name from the original author of the grimoire, though the page has long been torn out and lost. Cipactli, for lack of better terminology, is the book. It cannot do anything to prevent foolish dragons from entering its home and reading the book, even though it knows they will be pulled into the void when they reach page 358. It also knows it could just tear out page 358, but that would hurt a lot. Losing the title page was bad enough. Besides, it prefers its collection of forbidden magic to be complete.

Aether dragons are not welcome in the Wyrd for any reason. Cipactli does not want to be eaten.

dream dragon OH MY GOD I CAN'T BELIEVE I FINALLY HAVE YOU AFTER ALL THESE YEARS
