Hecate appeared one day right when night was falling. Nobody knows much about her, but after several hours in headquarters with Robinia, Hecate received an invitation to stay. Hecate is Robinia's personal praetorian, a sharp-clawed Plague bringer who is happiest when spilling the blood of her enemies. She has a peculiar talent. Rumor has it she learned how to make blood-stone amulets from her grandmother, but no one will ask her if that's true; they're even less likely to ask if the other rumors about the stones are true. Some say they can curse you, leave you sleepless, drive you mad with wanting. Others say they grant the wearer immunity from harm. It's a brave or foolish dragon who accepts a gift from Hecate.

Good thing she gives them so rarely.
