Forgiven

______ "I may never be forgiven." The Pearlcatcher spoke, as he curled in on himself. Memories of that fateful day, playing throughout his mind.

"You brought this on yourself, I warned you what would happen!"The Skydancer's voice boomed. Kydian had let slip that their clan was showing signs of weakness. Which was an obvious lie, and almost started a war with their leader. Thankfully another Skydancer was their to stop it, but not before one of the younger dragons got seriously injured.

Kydian had looked on in horror, as he didn't expect this turn out. He only wanted to gossip a little "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry."He repeated over and over again. But Thorn didn't want his apologies, "You disappointed me Kydian, your gossip hurt one of the young. You should be ashamed."The Pearlcatcher knew what was about to happen, and was ready to face the punishment.

Swallowing the lump in his throat, he followed Thorn to the Leader's Den."Noctis, I brought him."The older Fae merely shook his head. Though Kydian couldn't read his emotions, something inside him knew his leader was angry.

Now here he was, wings covered in ice and chains. Snowflakes falling over him, as he watches the memories, through his pearl. That freezes the longer he watches them. "This shall be my home now, I'll keep myself covered. And I will never return to the Starwood." A small tear fell from his eye, as he finally let sleep consume him.
