Brilliant opalescent cards tucked away in a small black pouch,
Swords gleaming in the shining moon, a soft meow echos.
Tae jumps cleanly onto the Skydancer's shoulders nestling into the wolf's pelt situated there. A loud purr resonates and Morgan releases a soft chuckle before continuing her book. "I know Tae, I miss them too."

Dilara was never truly lost, she made a choice to leave her old clan to escape the role she was forced into. She wandered the lands for a long time, rarely giving her true name; she hoped to find a friend that could understand her and the shadow she tried to hide. Don't misunderstand she loved her past clan and she loved her old home but the clan elder told her to leave; the toxicity of the clan leaving a stain on her kind soul. She wished she could go back for the elder, but when she tried to old one had given her last breath taking her own life in a way that only she would know. Devastation consumed her, knowing the female who raised her was gone and the means that she left; the happy memories will never replace the seal seared behind her eyes, the image of finding her in that way. One night she found a small town and stumbled into a tavern, the dragons were kind and offered a warm bed, food, and drink. She told stories to the patrons and sung ballads for distant lands she wished to travel. The dancing dragons cheered and jests were thrown, yet she still felt distant as if this wasn't where she should be. Once she had her fill she was struck with a sudden exhaustion, dizzily she made her way to her room. When she awoke she was bound, her belongings stripped and replaced with rags. She, along with a group of others, were to be sold as slaves. Among the dragons around her, she saw other patrons sad and fearful. Her wrists stung as she tried to turn, finding her hands bound to the bars; the sound of a whimper catches her attention. She snaps forward, eyes landing on a small dark blue baby. ‘a newborn’ she thinks. “Come here young one.” her voice hoarse. The small thing approaches and looks at her carefully then snuggles into her. Her heart broke as she felt drops hit her scales. “Don't worry little one, we will get out of here.” she soothed. That night, as promised, they escaped but not without cost her wings were badly damaged. Dilara and the child found safety in a clan for a night. They learned that Dilara had become a target for stealing the child. The clan’s leader suggested she change her name and travel to the Arcane fields to seek out sanctuary. The Name she chose was Morgan Gale, the child she named Jera, with the blessing of that clan’s leader they left on a long walk. Weeks later they finally arrived in the Arcane. She tried everywhere but no clan would welcome them, until she met Kachina. Morgan asked for her to take in the child prompting Kachina to laugh and welcome them both to the clan. Her reaction upon see Kankakee was entertaining, for they had met before. Her place in the clan is special as she cares for Jera and prepares the young one for life among the safe clan. |

Morgan Gael is actually my pseudo name, so this dragon is an extension of myself. I changed the story but the feeling is the same, I felt trapped for a very long time and carry more scars then can be seen. Things that happened left me in a state where there isn't much that can be done. I feel safe writing and creating stories, but I am still trying to convince myself that my writing is worth a damn. Please know that Morgan will always be a supporting character or a narrator; never a main character, just like me. I'm happy with my role, I can help many this way. I do not need to leave a mark as long as those who shine do, then I will be happy. Each gene represents something. ❇ Veined represents scars; I bare many scars, mental and physical. Yet I will never be ashamed of the marks that cover my body, they are proof that I survived even with the attempts I made. I managed to stand tall and follow my own path; I am free and alive. ❇ Leopard represents perfect Imperfections; it's a odd phase but it sums up what i see in myself. It's been some time since I created this persona and i have come to accept every part of me that there is good and bad. I want to improve and I know one day I will. ❇ Constellation represents growth and potential; i am not who I was yesterday and tomorrow it will still reign true. Im not sure of myself now but the confidence of others is forcing me to move forward. I know one day i will be able to look at what ive created and feel happy. Each color has meaning. ❇ White: The darkness in my being. To my very core I am a creature lost in the dark. I am plagued by nightmares and these so called gifts. My self hatred will never leave for I know what lies in my soul. I know that I will never been someone's light but I can allow them to shine brighter. I will give my entire being to make sure that another will become a beacon and light the world. I have trouble often, I become frustrated whenever these problems become clear; words and letters jumble, mind moving to fast to properly think or read, anxiety refusing to let me act. I do not take notice of many but if I see you, see your promise, see your damnation; I will make a move to seek you out, but then there are some I feel drawn to, these are a mystery to me (2 people to date). ❇ The Red: ❇ The Black: The others I don't want reveal until I feel confident enough to do so.
