Biography
- Arcane dragons under this FE tab will be referred to as Mage Dragons. Similarly, Water Dragons will be called Sea Dragons instead.
- Smaller and shorter than the typical Ridgeback's massive length and towering height.
- Scrawny figure with a prominent rib cage underneath his vestment.
- Austere in manner and appearance.
- Deep and shiny purple hide had paled over the years.
- The Arcane element warps the physical appearance of its dragons and other well-experienced breath practitioners. His neck and forelimbs are disproportionately long, front digits are bony and elongated, and eyes are large and oval-shaped (a bit hard to notice since he tends to furrow his eye ridges).
- The ridged spines on his dorsal side are curved like a hook; the largest ones are on his back and the shortest ones are on his head and tail as small bumps.
- He can conjure dragon corpses for tasks such as labor, surveillance, and combat. However, he is merely puppeteering them with his Arcane breath, despite the corpses appearing reanimated. Incapacitate him, and his decayed puppets will cease movement.
- While the typical dragon can breathe their element out from their gaping jaws, Ridgeback dragons' element lies in their horns and spikes. The horn from Dolth's snout glowing with Arcane breath indicates nearby active 'necrodragons', its pink aura distorting the surrounding air; it also acts as a staff of sorts, casting breath as he chants spells.
- He was once an undertaker assistant, utilizing his breed's tunneling skills for burial preparation. After learning this information, a priest named Jedah pulled Dolth aside from grunt work and requested his assistance in embalming a massive, rotting body.
- A close confidant of High Priest Jedah, serving under him as his eyes and ears.
- The 'necrodragons' were gathered from graves, slain enemies, and fallen allies.
- Many Ridgeback dragons traditionally borrow from others without asking, and he, being one and raised by only Ridgeback dragons, is no exception to this. Clergies of the Duma Faithful would notice missing items of theirs and seek to question him. Dolth would grunt and hand the borrowed item back before resuming his work, having no need of it anymore.
- Walking with disproportional forelimbs and fingers is a little uncomfortable, so he'll often use his wings for better support.
