Captain of the Heart Pirates, Surgeon of Death, Trafalgar D. Water Law (tôlafalugā // dē // wātelu // lõ). Uses a nodachi, but rarely. Has the power to manipulate anything, including other dragons, in any way inside of a special "room" he creates. Nicknamed "Toraou" (Traffy or Tra-guy) by Monkey D. "Straw Hat" Luffy, captain of the Mugiwara (Straw Hat) Pirates. The Mugiwara and Heart Pirates are currently in an alliance with two other pirate crews, the Kidd pirates (captain: Eustass Kidd) and Drake pirates (captain: X Drake, an undercover marine). He wields a cursed sword, Kikoku, meaning 'Demon's Wail'. He grew up in the 'White Town' of Flevance, where the trees, stone, gress, everything was beautifully white. The scientists of the kingeom found that the sorce of the whiteness was a type of miniral. The people immidiately began to mine it and make it into vaeiius products- then, years later, a illness sprang up- White lead disease, caused from direct contact with the new miniral, causing white spotches to cover the body and then death. Law's parents, the top doctors of the country, researched frantically to try and cure it- but it had no cure. The naboring kingdoms of Flevance, fearing the uncontagious diesease, immidiately closed off their boarders- quarantining the whole kingdom. With government help, the royal family fled the kingdom, leaving it's people to die. Soon the World Government sent in marines to burn down the kingdom and kill off all the townspeople. His pwrents shot, the hostpital his younger sister had been staying in burened, 10-year-old Law hid in the heaps of bodies carted out of the kingdom to excape. He then joined the Doflamingo pirates- the most influential pirate group in the second half of the Grand Line, the New World. He told Doflamingo that he had only about three more years to like- he knew, as he had studied to become a docter with his parents- and that he wanted to destroy everything he could. Doflamingo accepted Law into his pirate group. Two years later, Corazon, Doflamingo's biological younger brother, heard Law telling the two other kids in the pirate group his full, true name- Trafalger D. Water Law. Shocked, he grabbed Law and took his to an alley to talk to him- telling his that he shoukd get away from Doflamingo and that people with the initial 'D' were feared as 'God's natural enemies'. Law was shocked that Corazon could speak, as Corazon had been pretending to be mute the entire time. Corazon kiddnapped Law and took him away, leaving a note to his elder brother that said 'I've gone to cure Law's illness.' However, all the hospitals that they went to begged Corazon to take Law aay, telling him that Law was a White Monster from the White City and that he was dangerous and should be killed. Corazon, shocked at the repulsive behaviour the doctors treated Law with, procedded to punch the doctors and drag Law away from the hospital to a new one. This continued for 6 months until Corazon recived a call from his brother. Doflamingo told him that he had recived intel on the Ope Ope no Mi, the Op Op Devil Fruit, that could save Law's life and said that he woukd steal it and that Corazon should brin Law to meet up with him later. Corazon rejoiced, then noticed that Law's sickness was worse and immidiately planned to steal the Fruit before his brother. Corazon managed to steal it and feed it to Law, but made a grave mistake- Doflamingo found him. Doflamingo, now knowing that his brother had betrayed him, asked why he had to kill another of his blood family (Doflamingo had killed his and Corazon's father when the were small). Corazon said that he didn't care, that he was a Marine spy and had been reporting Doflamingo's movements to the Government for a long time. H e then prosseded to take out a gun and point it at Dolfamingo. Knowing that his brother would never shoot, Doflamingo did the same and asked where Law was. Corazon said that Doflamingo would never find him and that Law was free now- out of Doflamongo's clutches. Annoyed, Doflamingo shot his brother, killing him, and ran off to his pirate ship with his crew. Law, now free to excape, walked away crying into the night. 13 years later, he formed and alliance with Luffy to take down Kaido, one of the Four Emporers of the sea- and his plan included taking down Doflamingo as well since he was Kaido's underground trading partner. Doflamingo almost killed Law in the process, but Luffy managed to beat up Doflamingo, who was then captured by the Navy. Now Luffy and Law are tying to take down Kaido- well, Luffy is, and Law is looking for one of the four Red Phonegliffs for Robin.


"It's been two years since the Summit War. Did anyone actually accomplish anything? All you did was stay calm. All Whitebeard did was end the era. The Navy Headquarters rounded up new forces. The big-timers didn't take any action! It was like everyone was just preparing for something. That war was only a beginning. You always told me that the new era of the daring ones is coming along with an unstoppable swell. I broke... the gears!"
