an actor whose flamboyance and melodrama belong only in the theatre. nothing much at all is known about him, but audiences across the country flock to him, his mystery, and his charming talent. spleen has a bad reputation amongst other actors for his off-beat attitude and his unattached, vagabond lifestyle. the only ties he has is that to his beau, ennui. though his real name, vojtech, is known in the small circles he began preforming in, he took the name spleen when he was elevated to infamy.

he desperately wishes to be closer to ennui, but there is still a layer of distrust between them that the emotionally guarded ennui has established. sometimes their relationship is more professional when spleen thinks it should be more intimate. he's never sure on what footing they stand.
