SUBSPECIES: MOUNTAINEER

The first Mountaineers were a nation of adventurers. They travelled above the mountain tops of dangerous ridges just to find artefacts and gemstones such as the common quartz. While it is not a special item in general, a mountaineer’s quartz will always be the most brilliant and valuable quartz, which made it their symbol and trademark. They decided against digging mines and pits – unlike other earth flight dragons, they are hikers! To be a grown up Mountaineer means, risking your life for the sake of hoarding raw crystals and rare goods. When they hike down to the valleys where their families wait for their return, they always prove to be great storytellers.
