Tanzanite is the clans local mad scientist, and the one responsible for making her older brothers mask. She insists that it's not enchanted, and that it's simply engineered in such a way that it creates an optical illusion that dragons register as eerily lifelike. Hematite still doesn't believe her.

She gets her name from her horns, a trait she shares with her brother even though her's are far more vibrant. She's also loves to accessorize with vibrant fabrics that match her horns. Well, except for her lab coat, which is a present from her brother that she loves for sentimental practical reasons.
