WIP, just a few basic ideas.
A cursed doll beloved by hatchlings as an “imaginary” friend, yet is openly hostile towards most adults. He will not tolerate even the smallest of slights from them, and will wrack them with horrible hallucinations from the shadow magic within him. Otherwise, he has a very childlike disposition and will let hatchlings get away with so much as tearing his seems and playing roughly with him. He is always looking for friends and seems to get along with any hatchlings he might encounter. Though this fades a bit when they become adults, he never forgets who was once his friends. Those are the adults who he tolerates, and it’s not uncommon for them to still talk to him, mend his tears, and even still play with him when time allows. Octavius may even attempt to do good for his adult friends. He still has a child’s mind and may attempt to “help” his friends by using magic or cursing those he perceives as their enemies. More often then not, he often causes more harm this way. But if he is delicately explained why what he did was wrong, he will shyly fix any damages.
