Dilnikka
Nature Flight representative, kind of a hippie

At the question "what do you wish you were born as, if you weren't born a dragon?", Dilnikka is the most likely to answer with "a round pebble" or "soil". When asked the reason why, she simply says: "that way I couldn't get in the way of the ecosystem even if I wanted to."
Being one of the extremely idealistic dragons in the lair, Dilnikka couldn't feel closer to nature and wildlife. She believes that everything has a soul and its own dignity, including plants and the smallest bugs, and spends her days trying to become one with the environment. Letting the Nature elemental energy flourish even in the most unexpected places is an accomplishment for her, but so is observing all kinds of creatures thriving in hostile environmental conditions. Rather than a scientist, however, she considers herself more of a "friend of all things green".
Dilnikka doesn't really like dragons, as she believes that their intelligence sometimes brings them too far away from their natural origins, but rather than despising the other dragons in the lair, she does her best educating them about how to thrive with natural resources without negatively influencing the ecosystem. This usually results in Dilnikka chatting on and on and on about plants - whether her friends decide to keep listening or going away, it doesn't really matter to her.
She doesn't have the best relationship with other Pearlcatchers. She was born a Fae, so her pearl was originally just a round pebble she found, and despite the multiple layers of shiny polish she added over time, born Pearlcatcher dragons can tell the difference and tend to treat her as somewhat less than perfect.
Her mate is Karuunys, whom she loves and admires a lot. Dilnikka is also one of the few dragons who can keep her temper under control; on the other hand, Karuunys is the one who usually grounds Dilnikka when she starts to detach herself from reality too much.

Dilnikka doesn't know what is her original clan. She was born a Fae and raised by Tafeirinmen along with other hatchlings in the lair.
When she was little, Dilnikka was a much quieter and gloomy dragon than she is nowadays. She didn't feel that the Ashfall Waste could be her home: it was too hot and unwelcome for her taste, the nature too scarce and full of unpleasant energy.
Being turned to a Pearlcatcher by Entarge seemed to make her condition both better and worse at the same time. She wasn't as sensitive to the Fire energy as she was before, so life became much more bearable. On the other hand, she didn't feel a strong connection to her new breed as the other Pearlcatchers in the lair, so she was never able to fit in with the others.
Karuunys was the one who eased her problem with isolation. She was much like a role model: her hardworking nature made her shine among all the other dragons, and Dilnikka decided very soon that she didn't want to miss anything she could learn from her.
As she grew up, Dilnikka developed her own ideas about what it meant for her to be a Nature dragon. It was important for her to find her own path, and taking care of the environment was the best she could possibly think of. She hadn't forgotten how uncomfortable she had felt during her youth, and she wanted to prevent other dragons from feeling the same. This welcoming good nature of hers was what made her stand out in the eyes of Fereneel, and let her earn the title of Nature Flight representative along with Karuunys.
Now that she was a fully grown adult and at the same level as Karuunys, Dilnikka stopped seeing her as some unapproachable hero, and started seeing her as an actual friend. Over time, they eventually became lovers, and their innate chemistry is still vivid and amazing to this day.
