Gry comes off as very aloof and unfazed. Such is the nature of ice dragons, much of the high court wonders how she and Gale get along.

Little of Gry’s life has been led by her own decisions. Her mother spent generations trying to raise the perfect queen, and she felt satisfaction in the excellence Gry had shown. Everything in her early life revolved around her rule, being conditioned on how to act, how to think, what to think.

Years of being compared to failed successors definitely did a number on her, emotionally. She casts these feelings aside, she has a powerful and bustling alliance to tend to.
