 Born into The Cult, Leisha is a rather unusual sort. Not just because of her being born into The Cult, which is unusual among Sornieth in general, but for her desire to bring those of other faiths into the fold of The Cult. That may sound innocuous, but... it is rarely so kind. Of course, she always tries to convince the dragons she comes into contact with, first. She keeps diligent notes about their cultures and habits, and does her best to convince them honestly. If that doesn't work... eggs start disappearing. Religious leaders vanish. If it still doesn't work? They'll soon find their town(s) razed, crops stolen, and their people as a whole destroyed. The fortunate manage to find themselves freed into Cult society after a harrowing reeducation regime. The not-so-fortunate will spend all their lives under Chavi's claw.

For you see, Leisha isn't just a Dragothopoligist. She's a spy. She seeks out neighboring clans and records data about them in a seemingly peaceful way, for The Cult to use to infiltrate and destroy/absorb them. She plays the long game; some clans have been studied for decades at a time before they were subsumed into becoming Cult territory. She always desires a peaceful ending, with no war, but it's rather rare for such a thing to happen. Usually the army must be called in, and then she has to watch those she's studied fall before the might of The Cult's army. It doesn't bother her much, but she'd still rather avoid it.
