 Of its companions, Nero is the least dragonlike. When Cicero summoned it, he used moonlight, shadows, blood, and a touch of the Shade. Due to a miscalculation on his part, Nero received a dangerous majority of Shade and lack of blood. The twitchy creature has difficulty flying for long periods of time, usually opting to flop around and leave a trail of iridescent sludge behind.

Cicero considered killing this useless abomination at first, but decided against it when he discovered its true strength: traveling through the shadows. Nero can disappear into them and suddenly appear on the other side like a fish through water. 		Forgotten Crown
