BACKSTORY

Once upon a time, there was a group of Longnecks in the Starfall Isles. They were very hostile, and there were many Faes and Spirals near their home. But they didn't drive these small dragons out. Instead, they made these faes and spirals into slaves that had to work for them. A boring life, but those faes and spirals could never escape or they would have to suffer for it.

On one day, two dragons had an egg. Flaxiso, and Thinita. 2 eggs, to be specific. Eventually, they had hatched, into two little Fae hatchlings. Thinita decided to name the first one Mostora and the second one Citroviola. Both hatchlings were eager to play, but the Longnecks were not at all happy with Mostora and Citroviola's excitement to play and have fun. No fun allowed for dragons in this Longneck group.

Mostora and Citroviola were given food and water, and when they were children and not babies, the Longnecks gave jobs to both of them. Mostora had to collect food, and Citroviola had to pick flowers. Mostora was okay with her job, but Citroviola however, she loved flowers. She didn't mind gardening and picking flowers, but when she was forced to do it it made it worse. But she kept doing it, knowing she might be punished if she didn't. Eventually, she started to hate doing this. She rarely got to chat to her sister Mostora, and she had to pick flowers so often.

One day, it was almost Citroviola and Mostora's 8th birthday. They never celebrate birthdays in this Longneck group, but Citroviola had been making the perfect escape plan. At night, when the Longnecks were sleeping, Citroviola told the other dragons about her plan. The dragons gathered up party supplies: Streamers, balloons, cake, everything party-y. They were ready, and made this place into a party.

The next day, all the dragons woke up. And so did the Longnecks. It's gonna work! I know it's gonna work! Citroviola thought. This just had to work. She'd been planning for weeks. When the Longnecks came out of their dens, they were shocked to see party decorations EVERYWHERE! There were dragons dancing, and Citroviola and Mostora were hovering near the top of a huge cake made out of insects. Faes and spirals of all ages were playing with balloons or jumping around the cake, singing the birthday song. And then they shouted "Happy birthday, Citroviola and Mostora!"

The Longnecks were not at all happy with THIS. A party, without the longneck's permission? A party thrown for DRAGONS? They watched the faes and spirals go back and forth, voraciously munching the giant cake. The leader of this small Longneck group stomped on the ground and shouted to make this party stop. And the dragons looked at him, with angry looks on their faces. They growled, and started flying around the cake quickly. And they got faster and faster.

Until they looked like a color-changing blurry ring around the cake. It summoned a mini-tornado, and the Longnecks couldn't do anything about it. They tried to throw spears at it but the dragons were much too fast. They sent Warcats at it but they were flung off. The tornado brought in the streamers and balloons. Tattered streamers and squashed balloons were flung off in all directions.

But not only that. The Longneck's home was destroyed, and they could see Faes and Spirals flying away from the tornado, even some giggling sounds washed away by the fierce winds. The tornado started to die down, and broken remains were all that were left of the Longneck's home. The fae dragons and spiral dragons had freed themself from the Longneck's cruel slavery trap. They were free, at last.

Citroviola and Mostora stayed together. They'd been best sister friends forever. But they looked up at the yellow sky, painted with clouds, and Mostora tucked her wings in and frowned. "I guess this is goodbye, Citry." Mostora sadly said. Citroviola tried to lighten the mood and hugged Mostora. "But.. can't we stay together? We'll be best big sister friends forever.. forever. Together." the pastel fae asked.

"I'm sorry, but we can't, Citroviola. I'm off to make my own clan, in what I could pretend is a new life. We've lived together all these years, but now, it's time for goodbye.." Mostora replied, looking up to the sky, opening her wings and preparing to fly off. But when she did, Citroviola grabbed her tail. "Wait! Mostora! Where will you go? And where will I go?"

"I don't know yet, and I don't know where you will go either. But this is goodbye, and I'm sorry." Mostora said before taking off to the sky. Citroviola watched her sister fly away and a tear rolled down her face. I guess I'll never see Mostora again, unless I'm lucky.. goodbye, Mossy. Citroviola thought. The idea of Mostora leaving was harder to swallow than an Imperial-sized insect that's tougher than steel. But she understood, and flew away.

She wandered across Starfall Isles for months. Years. She occasionally took temporary residence in other clans, but never permanent residence. She had been wandering for too long. Eventually, she gave up looking, and settled in a small area of Starfall Isles. She used supplies that she gathered to try and build a clan, as well as food given by the Arcanist to help kickstart her clan.

She felt lonely, and didn't want to be like this. But then she saw a Tundra dragon, who was also wandering the Starfall Isles to look for a home. The tundra dragon asked if he could help, and Citroviola gladly accepted. She asked the Tundra's name, and he said his name was Blazo. So, Citroviola and Blazo worked together to build their clan.

Eventually, a few weeks later, 3 dragons came to the clan, along with 2 familiars and some money. Citroviola and Blazo accepted this, and a few days later, Citroviola and Blazo had their first hatchlings. Two tundras. One of them Blazo named Menga, and one of them decided to leave to go explore, eventually being named Cairme.

Years pass by like time sped up. This is the story of Citroviola, from her hatching to when she founded The Blooming Crystalvine Clan.
