As is common for Tabaxi, she can easily become obsessed with a subject, but fixation is fleeting, and once the object is understood it becomes uninteresting and mundane. She can't seem to hold her tongue when it comes to insults. Her scathing backhanded compliments have landed her in trouble more than once.

Defeated by her childhood friend and sworn rival in a musical competition, Ashes left her hometown of Dreaming Cove to take a shot at adventuring. She's not actually too interested in the monster-slaying and money-earning herself, though – her true goal is to find a story, a tale of magic and mystery that she can weave into a mighty song.
