Deceiver erratic | violent | unpredictable Not a dragon, no. Nowhere near a dragon in truth. In fact, if one stared too long at this horrid beast, they could tell instantly that it's shape is far too uncanny and wrong. Mouth too wide, too many teeth filling its gums. Hollow eyes that burn with a fire of hell hidden under a tattered and bloody blindfold. Horns and wings fan from its head, the wings always twitching and flaring. Shedding feathers blacker than night and covered in tar that stains anything they touch. Claws click on the ground, gouging out trails as it hobbles. Joint creaking, bones cracking, limbs jerking out of place and into positions nowhere near natural. Perhaps it feels no pain, as it simply jerks its limbs back into place. That, and also the wooden stake pierced right through its chest. The wound dripping black viscera that hisses and sizzles as soon as it splatters onto anything. Burning and eating away at any surface, just like the strongest of acids. Its voice is hissing, echoed thricefold. Resonating and seeming to circle you and worm its way into your brain. Thoughts and implications clinging to your mind and clawing their way to the forefront of your thinking. Making you want to obey, follow, listen to it. Do what it says. Do not trust this beast, this not-dragon, this demon. It wishes nothing but harm and is locked far away from the general population for a very valid reason. One can only pray that the binds holding it in place never fail. Imagining the destruction that would be caused if it was released unto the world with full power should terrify even the strongest warrior. | xxxxxx |
