Kieri
Buwaro's Guardian
Dudiful -gentle - determined
Gravewatcher Enfield
lvc0sg8.png

When Buwaro first appeared in the Valley, it soon became apparent that the Imperial was already more dead than alive. He didn't seem to realize himself and couldn't seen to die.
In fear he might turn into an Emperor sooner or later, an Enfield was summoned to gurad him.
Already delusional, Buwaro believed the summoned Enfield to be his long lost Love, Kieri.
Being freshly summoned and not having recieved another name yet, the Enfield adapted to this name and called herself Kieri.
She is always seen close to Buwaro. Accompanying him. Guarding him. Waiting for the inevitable to happen.

After the formation of the first Emperor, mortal dragons and deities alike quickly concluded that a method, to prevent such a disaster from occuring again, was necessary for Sorneith’s survival. With this necessity and the use of magic came the Enfields: fox-like dragon spirits with varying amounts of feathers adorning their forms, as well as arms that are replaced with those of a bird. Nowadays, formations of Emperors have become a rare occurrence, with the few incidents due to a careless lack of Enfields in Imperial graves or individuals deliberately bringing Imperial corpses together(often after killing any present Enfields).

Enfields are typically notably larger in comparison to Skydancers and Coatls respectively, though sizes may vary from individual to individual. These spirits were created with the purpose to guard the graves of dead Imperials, warning individuals to avoid particular areas when the burial of an Imperial is necessary, or protecting already buried Imperials from individuals who seek to desecrate their graves. With this, it should be noted that a majority of Enfields are naturally gifted with incredible amounts of magic strength. These Enfields are also often adept at using this magic power in combat. The combination of their power and their ghost-like forms make them difficult opponents to kill by typical means, though spells meant to dispel particularly powerful spirits often do the trick. Once successfully summoned, Enfields do seem to be capable of producing offspring, though only with other spirits.

Enfields do not occur naturally after a dragon dies or is buried. They must be manually summoned into the world to serve their purpose. However, the spell to summon an Enfield is not all too difficult for adept spell casters, typically only requiring an incantation and an item that relates to what the Enfield must guard. Such as a bone for Gravewatcher Enfields. It is evident that BeastClan mages are also capable of casting the spell necessary to summon an Enfield and these Enfields do serve the BeastClans willingly.

Over time, curious dragons began to summon Enfields with other items, creating new variants that would guard various other subjects and locations, such as hoards and prisons. Some Enfield variants are also summoned to guard entire lairs, pathways, or even living creatures.

Gravewatchers
The Gravewatchers are known as the original Enfields, created for the purpose of guarding Imperial gravesites. Being the guards of the gravesites and even entire graveyards, their appearances are typically grey and/or dull in color and pattern. This is believed to match the gravestones that often mark the places they protect. They commonly also have a ghostly, swirling mist surrounding them. Gravewatchers are summoned with bones, fossils, and other remains of dead creatures.
