Nyx does not have power over the nighttime. Rather, she is the adopted child of Selene and Helios. She represents the night that Lunar Point toils under. Unlike her more flighty and materialistic breed sibling, Nyx is much more quiet and shy. She does not speak unless spoken to first, and has perfect manners. While Nyx is perfectly content with a good book, her sisters often try to get her to come out of her shell a bit and partake in activities. Her Queen and King also try to bring her to political affairs in order to help her learn a fair grip of politics. But Nyx believes she knows all she needs to know simply through her books. This has sparked some debate between her and her Queen. If it were up to Nyx, she could be crowned queen of the city library and that would be that. She has no desire to take the crown, or marry, or have children. Even for a more relaxed court like Lunar Point, it's not something that Nyx takes particular joy in.
