Nerissa is the more patient and level-headed of the two clan alchemists. She prefers to follow methods that are tried and trusted, measures her ingredients meticulously and executes her recipes with absolute precision.

Nerissa's lab notes reflect her organized mind, always neatly arranged, detailed and comprehensive - a polar opposite to her girlfriend's. When she's not taking her own notes, she can often be found squinting at whatever wall Lamar has most recently decided to use as her notebook and trying to jot down the important discoveries before the spiral can cover them with a new layer of scribbles.

Despite her methodical approach to alchemy, Nerissa possesses a profound sense of curiosity. It is simply tempered by her caution of the potential dangers of their experiments, since she often has to be the voice of reason when Lamar's enthusiasm threatens to overshadow practical considerations.

Nerissa and Lamar are "parents" - for lack of a better word - to Frida, a sentient experiment they've managed to conduct together during their time in the clan. Nerissa is the more motherly of the two, dedicated to ensuring Frida's well-being and providing her with care, structure and stability. Her emotional availability and connection with her own feelings make her an ideal adult for Frida to be around.
