______ Akilina was born of wind and magic on a breezy autumn day. From birth she had an affinity for both, and started studying the world and the magic that flowed around it in infinite currents. As she studied magic, she developed an area of expertise of reading fate on the winds; detecting events that happened, are happening, and possibly will happen. Any way the wind blows, she would work with it and accept things as they came and went.

______ When she matured into adulthood and completed her studies, she joined a caravan of mages who performed entertaining skits and displays of magic to amuse dragons across Sornieth. She enjoyed that life, and her smile and charm always bolstered the cheers of the crowd.

______ On her travels she bumped into Daeorm, and immediately became intrigued and infatuated with his attitude. He shared a very similar philosophy to hers regarding 'anywhere they wind takes me, I'll go', but his was much more... pragmatic. She attached to him, occasionally using her magic to cheer him up with the fates to come, to show him there's not much to fear or despise. In time she managed to soften him, but also in turn he hardened her and showed her the value of ignoring warning signs of bad things to come.
