A long time ago, there was a group of dragons, a large clan you would say, that loved swimming and splashing in the water. It was their source of joy, and you could see them commonly everywhere playing in the water. These dragons called their clan the song of a thousand waves. The members of the song of a thousand waves, the Oceansong, came from the heart of the Sea of a Thousand Currents. They were here for a long time, swimming, always swimming with the currents and waves. They rest while staying afloat, and eat at the surface of the sea.

After a long time, the sea and them became inseparable. The swimming caused waves and ripples to wash over their scales, and markings formed- wavy patterns, reminding them of their past. For some the water would crystalize on them to form gemlike stones and for others the water would polish them, making their scales glimmer. The dragons are skilled, yet old, they are well know for swimming long distances and living to very old age, so far none of them was heard to die of old age yet, perhaps the exercise made them healthy? No one knows, as time goes this group of dragons thinned out, becoming rarer and rare to see, with rumours that they now only live at the spiral keep, keeping to themselves.
