10668.png Sunseeker stared into the eyes of the puppy, as it panted and smiled up at him. Reflected in the pupils he saw his own face, deep in concentration, searching.

But it was not there. Sighing, he placed down the excited ball of fur as it bounded back to its parents.

He had only ever found it once, in the eyes of the dog his family looked after when he was young. Her name was Solar, and her fur shined in the sun.

When he looked into Solar's eyes he saw it - a spark. As if there was the very sun contained inside her heart, her brain. He had been searching for that ever since, in every dog he had come by.

His only problem was, after adopting a dog, even if they didn't have the spark he didn't have the heart of get rid of them. So now he lives and travels with the dozens of dogs he looks after.
