 art by Roboa Anubis has always been a bit...odd to put it nicely. Since he was a hatchling he's been interested in death. Some might even say obsessed. While his siblings played with each other, he was trampling through the woods, searching for the weak and injured. If he was lucky they might even be at death's door! You see, the world around him saw their eventual demise as some terrible inescapable monster, but Anubis knew better. With the right tools and knowledge, he could conquer even death itself! So he dedicated himself to challenging his eternal rival daily by becoming a healer. Unfortunately his family could not see his brilliance and instead feared him. Then the rumors started. They said Anubis would turn on them, use them as experiments, that he'd purposefully let them become fatally ill just to see what would happen. It seemed inevitable that they'd betray him before he could betray them. Lost and abandoned he eventually found his way to a new clan. Anubis is a healer and a pretty darn good one. Unfortunately sometimes his morbid curiosity gets the better of him and he rather watch how an illness plays out then fix it. So far he's never actually lost a patient, but there's been dozens of close calls and quite a few dragons have sworn to never visit him again. Contrary to his dark and grim humor, he adores brightly colored things and loves to gather shiny things written by KatofCheshire poem wrote:
