Healer|Student|confidante
You fascinate yourself.
All dragons fascinate you.
The way they move - some nimble, graceful, with purpose - some...not.
Muscles pulling, stretching - the way scales lay, or furs and coats of hair know to grow.
As a young hatchling, you might curl your tail around you and wonder -
- how does it do that? What causes it to move? What muscles are working to make it stay?
As an adult, you know your anatomy well.
You know what muscles flex when you pull your tail around your feet at night. You also know that of other dragons - just as you know how to mend them if any of it is broken.
Most become a healer in order to help others, more than to learn.
You became a healer to learn - helping is a fringe benefit of being able to understand, and examine without abashment.
You are constantly learning - forever a student to others. You have so much to learn. There is so much to know.
When you are not a healer - a student - you are a confidante.
You listen to the word of your clan's own voice - Siarra - perhaps your dearest friend. Through them you hear the clan's many plights - its sorrows, its joys. You keep these to yourself - it's not your place to spoil news to others - though you may offer your own insights.
Through them, and through your ears, you're as good as second in command.
Ah - but the clan does not have a leader.
Not really.
Only a voice.
And an ear.
