  • This is not a living dragon. This is a statue made of metal shaped to an almost perfect reflection of an imperial. The statue stands at twice the size of said breed and serves as the epitome of artistry in Ashes's lair.

  • That is not its main purpose though. This statue is used as an epicenter for the graveyard in this particular clan, and the closer one is buried to the statue, the more honor they held in the clan in their lifetime.

  • Nonetheless, each dragon in this graveyard is burned and buried inside an urn. To deflect grave-robbers (and to remind the dead of their flight), one eye is preserved on top of these ashes and pointed upwards to stare at a grave-robbers sinful actions. This is also a way for the dragon to always keep an eye up towards their god in the afterlife. If the dragon did not have eyes or a flight, a small glass sphere is made instead.

  • A small amount of ash from each dragon is placed inside of the statue, slowly filling it and making it a sacred monument for the dead. It's speculated that, if tended to well enough, the gods will let this statue come alive and protect the clan in a time of need. The rise of the most recent emperor has left dragons silently bowing around the work of art more than ever before.

  • The small holes where ash is poured into is covered up by the armor placed on the statue and guarded heavily by select dragons under Ashes's command. Several dragons have been killed trying to deface this monument before, their remains thrown away for such disgrace.
