59KzWXX.gif Fire is warmth and light, safety and comfort, power and strength. This dragon is a hearthtender, a keeper of the kitchen fires in their clan and by extension a force it is unwise to cross. Where a common cook will light a blaze, this dragon can see in the embers and the flames and know the truths of their clan as they play out before them. They seem prescient, though all they are doing is listening to the embers.

They work with their close companion, the chef, to prepare meals for the rest of the clan, and they smoke herbs, teas, and meats for use later in the year. They take great pride in the curing of wood, the quality of smoke that rises from their pyres, and the lick of the flames across their flesh as they reach for burning coals to perform a spell or ceremony. They are used to being treated with respect and deference, and they will tolerate being slighted only by their family.

Their strengths are many, their powers vast. They are agender, referring to themselves more as flame than as dragon, as their mother has done.
