Day after the eclipse baby.
For all to see, the sun went dark, and impassioned, manic yells rose in the Starwood Strand. Religion and magic hinged on those precious moments of a dark world, and abandoned eggs hatched worldwide to claim their destinies whether out of imbalance or prophesy. Isra did not hatch.
Dragons would hatch the morning after the world went mad, as life goes on, and Isra was one of them. Her parents, a frenzied union the day before did not expect their tryst to see the light of day so soon. Isra had a strangeness about her and paced patterned as soon as her legs would hold her. Though a newborn Nocturne's instincts of mimicry are extremely strong, Isra preferred to pace her funny paths and spoke in her own voice. It suited her parents fine, as they were so reluctant to raise her. Confirming that she could feed herself, her parents parted ways back to their clan and temple and left Isra to her devices after a time.
Isra became a journeyer; a traveler and a witch.
