ARTUS
A master of reading emotions and social situations, Artus did well as a spy and thief. However, she has moved on from that type of employment due to a mysterious illness.

The illness struck at the worst time, while trying to sell information from the King's court. She chose the wrong customer to sell to and paid the price by being infected by an albino effluvial crow. She covers the red flowering mark of infection on her right wing with as much cloth as she can drape on it.

The infection keeps her from ever fully leaving the castle. Every time she tries she is struck down by the immense pain as due to the condition of the infection. She works her days by training pitiful dragons into semi-competent warriors in order to repay her 'debt' to the King and his people for the damages she could have easily caused by selling crucial information. She receives very little pay for her work.

As bad as things are for her, she has found some hope. She's gained a small group of friends and a girlfriend who adores her. Even though she loves them all dearly, she is too terrified to tell them the full truth of why she never leaves the castle.
