Skylar woke up, she inhaled deeply as she prepared herself for yet another day, another year, another century, it all felt the same for her, her clan seemed to be plagued with troubled souls, lost to the shade, even the forgotten lingered. She was stuck like this, permanently a young child, barely remembering her mother, and it seemed she affected other coatls that she touched, maybe she was contagious or ill. She wished she was contagious or ill she'd have control then, but no, the shade lived within this clan, it's power hummed vibrantly through the trees, even the strongest imperial couldn't resist the temptation of the shade
