Meddled too much in magic and stained his hide purple. He likes it this way though. He's always going a mile a minute about one thing or another and seems to be physically incapable of answering a question without going on at least three breakneck tangents and completely befuddling any would-be conversationalists.

After the quiet resignation of the previous Arcane ambassador, who had preferred literally anything else to his job, Merlin's hectic energy is both a blessing and a curse. He likes to try to converse with three different dragons at once... at least he can keep up...

Thoughts on Coli- "Ooh, fighting monsters is a good way to learn their strategies- but really not every zone is suited for Arcane mages- Did you know the native species of the Thunderhead Savannah aren't found anywhere else? I found a Rally a few weeks ago but it was given to somebody else- I heard some of my clanmates' eggs were found there I wonder if I'll get the chance to adopt? I've never tried physical moves, do you think they'd suit me? My familiar is not found in the Coli, I wonder if I should try to make friends there... Enfeeble is a fun move to use, but it needs more POW..."

Thoughts on the move- "Ooh, a new place to explore- What are the natural magic flows here?- Has everyone got here safe? - There's got to be some treasure in these hills though I won't be the one to find it... Wind magic makes me nervous, I've no edge on it... I wonder if I can use my magic while flying?..."
