While it was to be part of a like bodied group of dragons, it didn't provide much interest or variety to Paltu in his later years. This isn't to say he was looking for a dangerous profession or hobby. He just wanted to be around as many different individuals and groups as he could muster. It wasn't long before careful travel landed him in Treage.

In this new town he quickly settled and became a person to come to when someone needed help in keeping track of things. And he certainly didn't mind. It kept him plenty busy and it paid well while people remained kind. However when rough times and attitudes came, he worried for his safety. After a few close but not too threatening calls, he put up a wanted ad for a body guard and extra help.
