Lorna looks like a creaky old thing, and she is- all chipped claws and bent feathers and dulled scales- but the spark in her eyes hasn't lost an iota of brightness to the decades. This is an old lady who wakes up before dawn for a jog in the desert, followed by flying laps around the city, a sand bath, and only then breakfast.

Along with Harlan, she's in charge of the clan's 'warriors'. It's not like they've had anyone to fight in decades (or longer), but it's always better to be prepared.

That's the excuse at least; Lorna just likes having a reason to stay active and knock the rust off her armor. She'll get her rest in when she's really old.

Lorna and Harlan have been friends for longer than a lot of the clan has been alive. They've both changed a lot, and in all honesty should've grown apart a long time ago, but old bonds are hard to break.

Cleo takes soldier duty seriously as she takes anything else, which is to say not very. Still, when she shows up it's usually on time and the Snapper knows how to grit her teeth and take a hit which makes her all right in Lorna's book.

CLEO

Though Square Toe's makeshift 'army' tends to be the last thing on the mayor's mind, when something does come up she'd much rather talk to Lorna about it. It's not that Harlan can be unreasonable, but, well...
