She sits there, day in and day out. Reading and writing in ancient texts and papers that fall apart by the slightest breeze. It’s hard to imagine that such a massive beast could be so gentle and reserved. With a tail so long and a head so large, adorned with beautiful glazes and jewels. One would think she be more outgoing with her complexion, radiant colors that could blind. However, there is more simplicity to her. The imperial likes her books, her stories. Old text of long-forgotten stories or newer exciting adventures. It isn’t so much her wish to go out into the world, she gets her perspective from words on paper. Retaining much within her head and reciting little, choosing a few gentler souls, souls like her own to forward such knowledge. She chooses few, but those few she treasures more than her books and scrolls. However, she listens to many, taking their stories and turning their words paper. Her craft is an art, it is magic, delicate the pencils and brushes flow over the paper to collect a little piece of the speaker. Capturing the moment and the information all in one.
