Selene is a woman of science, and in love with the stars she is so named after. As with Eirian, her work is her life, and quite possibly her only true love. Bearing children is a necessary responsibility she takes upon herself for the clan's sake -- if she and Eirian are to one day leave this world, then their brilliance should be carried on. Namely, Selene studies the sky and is obsessed with stargazing, but also has taken it upon herself to study meteorology as well. She is the first warning system in place for aberrant weather patterns and dangerous storms that could possibly bring ill-fortune to the clan.
