Aurora

With her trusted familiar, Gale, Aurora is the dedicated and fearless leader of the Glacier Seeker Clan.

Born into a massive herd traversing the Snowsquall Tundra, with hundreds of other hatchlings in the mix, Aurora was just a nameless, faceless dragon in the crowd. It was late spring, the snow and ice had all but melted away, leaving the herd out of its element, exposed to the threat of raids.

One fateful day, a scourge of dragons hailing from the Abiding Boneyard and the Blacksand Annex spotted the herd down below and proceeded to wreak havoc and terror. Aurora got separated from the herd, but managed to escape amidst all the chaos, avoiding the slaughtering that surely would have resulted in her death.

Weakened, lost, and confused by the scuttle, Aurora continued in the wrong direction, eventually reaching the Frigid Floes. With nowhere else to go, she collapsed. Still only a hatchling, unable to defend herself, hope for survival was all but lost.

But then, in what seemed like a dream, a frostbite hummingbird named Gale came to Aurora. It led her to food and shelter. It told her grand stories and legends of what the Southern Icefield used to be. When Aurora recovered, she asked the bird why it had come to her aid. It told Aurora that the Icewarden wanted to protect her, wanted her to grow up and be strong and fight in the name of the kingdom.

With renewed purpose, Aurora continued to get stronger and founded a clan of her own. Gale travels to and from the ancient lair, delivering direct orders from the Icewarden, and Aurora coordinates the clan with the help of her hand-picked council so as to carry these orders out. She fights everyday to see the former glory of the Ice Kingdom restored.
