She is an explorer
Wind dragon by heart


Wing ribbon apparel = her magic object received from Erhune, as her brother has his monocle
Her power allows her to see where natural spirits are hidden (for example, inside a rock).
She is trying hard with me as a teacher her spirit summoning skills. She uses lunar and night incantation magic, and practises telekenis, object teleportation and magic languages with Jium. She uses a lot of incantation for her summoning and lunarenchanting and charming, that's why she is training hard in languages.
A lot of willpower but also veeeery proud : she prefers to make things alone. I think she took that from Erhune. Totally obstinate. Able to stay up all night working on a non-working formula.

They're very close
She was very sad when he decided to live in the Cliff Rift Ruins, even if happy he found his Charge.
She was disappointed because she always thought they would go on their Search together. She hadn't found her Charge for now.
She refuses her Search - officially because she doesn't want to be grounded and bounded to a single being like Alec is.

Meredith's Charge

"She was flying for a long time, now.
From the huge iceberg island to the luxuriant canopy, from the sparkling desert to the giant floating crystals, from the deep earth’s scars to the raging fire inside the mountains, she saw Sornieth. She flew over the deep blue oceans and the windy plains, she travelled underwater and high in the sky above the clouds. The ice weighting her horns and wings, the infection invading her throat, the shadows dwelling and the beaming light, she felt them from her scales to under her skin.
There was no more place to go, now. And yet something was missing.
Sunlight irradiates on her pearly wings, sustain by a warm air stream.
The sky is wide open and the world under her wings, completely free.
Above her, a big seafoam ribbon of pure freedom followed by green clouds of curiosity flies, going on his next journey, simply happy.
What a beautiful world, indeed.

A long time Search was finally over.
"

That's how the concept of exploration as Windsinger teaches it, free and nerverending, became her Charge. That'salso why she took the head of the Explorers of the clan and why she is trying to teach it to a lot of young dragons.

Though most peryton flocks nest high on cliffs and in trees, petalwing perytons can be found grazing in huge groups where the southern Starfall Isles begin to splinter and freeze into ice floes. (Colored by Virgo.)

Only shadow dragons can see wispwillow perytons after night falls. To others, they appear as a jumble of small floating specks of light. (Colored by Xemni.)
