Nimrook got his Trickster Cards at a young age, and now always has some kind of deck (whether magical or not) with him. Mainly sticking to simple card tricks, Nimrook enjoyed showing his skills to others. Now while not originally intending to swindle with his hobby, Nimrook soon got rather irritated at his large paws, which made it hard to perform tricks and sleight of hand. Nimrook started to learn how to play card games and earn money from them. Though as he continued Nimrook wasn’t able to make good winnings, even with his skill. Resorting to preying on less skilled opponents and using sleight of hand, he soon got a stable income. Nimrook could only rely on his skill for so long, as soon many grew suspicious of him, so in order to keep up his swindling Nimrook began to travel Sornieth. Unfortunately one time he didn’t leave as soon as he should, resulting in a minor scuffle permanently injuring Nimrook’s wings and preventing him from flying, this cemented the idea that he can’t settle down if he wants to keep doing his “job”.

Over his travels, Nimrook’s sociability (especially when compared to other Bogsneaks), showed to help in being able to easily set up shop where ever he travels. His friendliness also helps him get on good terms with others and avoid suspicion. While others may think of Nimrook as a close friend, Nimrook himself doesn't consider himself having any close friends. He prefers to keep relationships as colleagues and confederates, those that he could count on in a pinch but with some distance still. Nimrook kept to this plan even after running into a traveling group, of which he joined after showing off his ability to bring in good money.
