 Canon hatchling! Elena and her family were the reason I became so obssessed with spruce as a color, which kickstarted my spruce collection so they get the honor of being the first dragons in my lair and my main lore characters :) ◇ ◇  The more energetic of the Navigator Sisters, Elena is known for being an action girl, always eager to explore and fight. Despite being the daughter of the richest guy in town and a very popular bachelorette, Elena is far more interested in tinkering with trinkets and gizmos, drawing blueprints and participating in races - both piloting and flying. She loves adrenaline and fighting and is just waiting for the day her father is going to let her train to become a certified fighter in Porto. He is very worried about letting Elena fight seing as she was once nearly killed in combat by a Wave Sweeper and is unnusually weak to the blight plaguelins carry. Still, Elena is confident she can overcome most challenges and fighting shouldn't be different. While she doesn't become a fighter, Elena spends most of her time designing ships and submarines, drawing schematics and taking classes in the Royal University where she studies engineering. She really likes gin and tonic, and has a small gambling addiction, like her sister. They are always seen together, except when each goes to their activities or jobs. They're often found in their family's Navigator Harbor, and often at the Greatshell Hotel's Cassino with their best friend Jenny. On Farris request, his family acted as the host to a grand ball and dance organized by the Navigator Guild of Merchants. After renting the large Levitos Ballroom, Farris and his family received dragons of many clans from all over the Sea of a Thousand Currents. This had been the first time Elena and Maria could interact with dragons from other clans and they were both very excited and interested in spending time with their guests.
Sadly, a gigantic Wave Sweeper broke into the place at night, when only his two daughters were in, and took his eldest child, Maria, away, gravely injuring Elena in the process, to the point she nearly died trying to keep it from taking her sister. It took a lot of investigation as well as exploring the Levitos Sweeper's den to finally locate Maria. The Sweeper put up a great fight but it was finally defeated. Thanks to the help of the guests, Maria was brought back home safely by Farris and his newly made allies. Unable to help save her own sister and feeling a little like it was her fault she was taken away, Elena sworn to herself she would get stronger in the future, so her family could never be put in danger again. |
