Eirian was once a simple dragon, shy and closed off while burdened with a brilliant mind. Thanks to the support of his companion, he learned to explore himself. He grew from a timid scientist into a leader -- a clan's founder, to be precise -- until such a time as he tired of politics. Being a leader had never been his forte, and as he secluded himself into his laboratory, he grew distant from the dragons he had once sought to oversee. His relationship with Brekke grew strained; while he cared for her, and deeply so, she could not see that he was not a dragon that could be easily satisfied with sweet nothings and kind words. He was a man of science, and that was something Selene understood. Together, they progressed leaps and bounds in each of their respective fields.
