Tetra
Hunting Pack - Healer

"Stones will never break your heart"

Past
Content to spend her days listening quietly to water lapping at the shore line. Tetra doesn't like the hustle and bustle of things. Her and Abyss, and old mate, used to spend a lot of time just quietly observing life around them, content to communicate mostly by body language and exchanges of shiny pebbles. Tetra and Abyss are no longer a pair, as Abyss left her side to be with a snapper. She was quite lonely for a long time. But a new prospect has been working his way to win her heart. She’s cautious for now. She still spends most of her day quietly reflecting on life along the shore lines, but she’s also found a new hobby as she trains to be part or RipTides hunting pack. Her earth magic is growing considerably and she shows much promise.

Tetra is quite, shy and artistic. When not training to be part of the hunting pack or enjoying silence along the shore lines, she can be found arranging colorful pebbles into images and shapes. Tetras favorite gems that she collects along her travels.

Present
She has mostly left the hunting pack, though from time to time she will join RipTide on a mission. However most of her time is spent in her cave, watching over her rock collection. She started life as a guardian, and most likely the urge to have a charge is still with her. Her collection being her charge, and her pearl would be her prize, as it has a rock in its core, the first stone in her collection, given to her by Abyss as a promise.

One of the skills that she learned as part of the hunting pack, is how to heal, and she's very proficient about it. Other clan members will often come to her for aid in healing sickness and injury. She's become the clans doctor, of sorts.

Clan Elder
Tetras role as a Clan Elder, is to be the second in command of the hunting pack. She has learned the ability to heal wounds with earthly magic, and is now the clans healer along with being in the hunting pack. She aids in training new members of the hunting pack.

Rock Collector

Tetra is a bit of a rock collector. She's very much obsessed with gemstones, rocks and minerals that shine bright. Likely a leftover instinct from having come into this world as a guardian. Here is the types of stones in her collection.

A friend of mine wrote a lovely poem about Tetra.

Left Behind
A single set of footprints in the sand,
A single shadow stretching up the beach,
The surf slips over the dragon's feet
And slowly washes her tracks away.

The setting sun glints upon her skin
Like flecks of pyrite on a turquoise stone,
And her wings hang down against her sides,
As her lithe body plods along the shore.

But then she stops and looks down;
Her claws grab at something shiny.
Clumps of wet sand fall back into the surf,
And a bright red pebble rests in her hand.

She looks at it, turns it over with with a claw,
Then clenches her hand around it tight;
Her face grimacing, pulling back her arm,
She hurls it out into the sea.

And she stands there for a long time,
The sand building up around her feet,
Until, finally, she stretches forth her wings
And flies into the cool, gusty wind of night.
