As for Analog herself, she's just insuring people are getting their money's worth.

Crafty and elusive, Analog spent most of her formative years working under the watchful gaze of one of the Stormcatcher's many factories in the Shifting Expanse. Exposed to some of the more... distasteful parts of the industry, Analog found justice in exposing every graphic detail the public, regardless of what methods she had to use to get that information. She's been put on the blacklist of over 40 companies and on the wanted posters for many, many more, but the data she finds is incredibly valuable.

She usually isn't around in one place for too long to make any connections, but those who do happen to gain her favor find themselves with a powerful ally indeed. She remains fiercely loyal to her companions, and will do about anything for them. Analog often visits them in between her missions, leaving lavish gifts that she just so "happened" to get from her last excursion. It's better not to ask.

She also cheats at pretty much any game you can play, so don't even bother asking unless you're excited by the prospect of losing all of your money and maybe your dog. The one game she refuses to cheat at is D&D. Allegedly. No one's gotten close enough to her hoard to see if her dice are weighted.
