Copal, a dragon from the lightning flight, is true to her flight. An engineer at heart, she found herself far from her homelands after a tinker too far left her in a cloud of purple smoke surrounded by new forest she had never seen before. The smoke and loud noises caught the attention of the rest of the clan, Wintergreen being the first to find her. Far from home with no food or way to find her way back aside instinct, Copal befriended the dragons of The Jade Burrow, with the intention of using their supplies to one day go back home. Will her new friendship with this tight knit group of dragons prove to be too hard to leave?

Zazoo, one of her most recent friendships, is one of the few remaining things she has left from her homeland. He happened to be munching on a nice insect just as the room turned into purple smoke, the bang making him drop the insect. A squawk and a cough later, he found himself under the wing of Copal, completely squashed. As the dragon shifted, he fell to the floor before righting himself and flying up....up to the trees. This wasn't the lab. What had she done now?
